R1160 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1160 WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance No. 88, adopted the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by Resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that title to the following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance: 1. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 2950 and lying in the North side of Bissell Street (75 feet wide) and extending from its terminus at the western boundary of the Mark Twain Highway westwardly a distance of approximately 200 feet; and lying in a north-south direction across such terminus of Bissell 2 Street, parallel with such western boundary of the Mark Twain Highway, and extending from a manhole near the northern side of Bissell Street to an existing sewer in the South side of Bissell Street. The foregoing Resolution was adopted January 6, 1971.
