WHEREAS, Subdistrict No. 359 (Dellwood Creek) was
established on petition by Ordinance No. 2021, adopted April 16,
1970, and
WHEREAS, investigation has shown that such area is not
adequately served by storm sewers and that the public health is
affected, and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that the probable cost of
installation of such sewers will be approximately One Hundred
Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($175,000.00) and that the most
practicable method of payment therefor is from the proceeds of
taxes of said Subdistrict and from possible federal grants in aid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the construction of
adequate storm sewers in the area known as Subdistrict No. 359
(Dellwood Creek) is necessary in the interest of the public
health; that such sewers shall consist of approximately 1,335
lineal feet of sewers varying from 24 to 78 inches in size, which
shall be capable of efficiently serving or draining the entire
local drainage area; that the estimated probable cost of such
improvement is One Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars
($175,000.00); that the entire cost of such improvement shall be
paid for by an annual ad valorem tax levied within the subdistrict
and by federal grants from the U. S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development and that such improvement be constructed in said
Subdistrict, such facilities to flow into or be connected with
existing public storm sewers located adjacent to said Subdistrict.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing be held
within said Subdistrict to afford all persons interested in said
improvement an opportunity to be heard; that such hearing shall be
held at such time and place as the Executive Director shall
determine, but not less than ten nor more than thirty days after
the adoption of this resolution; and that notice of such hearing
shall be given by the publication of notice in at least one issue
of a newspaper of general circulation with The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District not less than ten days in advance of the date
of such hearing.
