PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION AND REFUND
WHEREAS, on December 20, 1996, the Borough of Carteret is
purchasing the Cooke Avenue bank building property known as
block 207, lots 5, 6, and 7, and
WHEREAS, the taxpayer has tendered payment in full fo~ the
entire 1996 calendar year, and
WHEREAS, the p.rprated amount of taxes and sewer fees to be
cancelled and refunded for the period December 20, 1996 thru
December 31, 1996 is as follows:

Total $845.40 $23.34
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret, County of Mi,ddlesex, State bf New
Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancel the taxes and sewer
fees enumerated above and issue a refund of overpayment
accordingly.

1996 and certified as a true copy of
the original on December 20, 1996.
