HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1262 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1262 WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance No. 88, adopted the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that title to the following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance: 1. Those sewers constructed under Permit No. 13849, 15533 and 16300, and lying in Page Boulevard, and extending from Grand Avenue to Easton Avenue. 2. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 15283 and lying in North Market Street and extending from the north-south alley in City Block 1885 to Coleman Street. 3. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 72080 and lying in the east-west alley in City Block 1079 and extending from Parnell Street to 25th Street. 4. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 86650 and lying in North Market Street and extending from Leffingwell Avenue westwardly approximately 330 feet. The foregoing Resolution was adopted March 16, 1972.
