HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1265 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1265 WHEREAS, a public sewer now in operation lies in an easement in a tract of land in City Block 4392 of the City of St. Louis, Missouri; subject tract of land is bounded on the southeast by the northwestern line of Shreve Avenue, on the south by the northern line of St. Louis Belt and Terminal Railroad right of way, on the northwest by a line approximately three hundred seventy-five (375) feet northwest of and parallel to the northwestern line of Shreve Avenue, and on the northeast by a line approximately two hundred forty-three (243) feet southwest of and parallel to the southwestern line of Rosalie Street, as measured along the northwestern line of Shreve Avenue from its intersection with the southwestern line of Rosalie Street and, WHEREAS, the owner of the land in which such sewer lies has requested permission to construct a building across said sewer easement, and examination and survey of such sewer and of such building shows that the proposed encroachment will not damage the existing sewer; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license the aforesaid encroachment on said easement, provided that the right of the District to use the easement is preserved and the District is indemnified against liability, loss or damage from such encroachment. The foregoing Resolution was adopted March 9, 1972.
