WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers
hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be
acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance,
and which it is desirable for the District to operate and
maintain, and
WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance No. 88, adopted the
16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or
all sewers, easements and appurtenances by resolution whenever, in
the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be
found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the
District should assume title to such sewers, and
WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that
no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the
hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends
that the District should assume title to such sewers, in that they
form an integral part of the sewer system serving the public,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that title to the
following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of
St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance as an
integral part of the public sewer system:
1. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 59544 and
lying in Davis Street, and extending from Minnesota Avenue to
Michigan Avenue.

2. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 31808 and
lying in Grand Boulevard, and extending from Blow Street to
Loughborough Avenue.
3. That sewer constructed under Permit Nos. 61741 and
95899 and lying in the east side of Grand Boulevard, and extending
from Chouteau Avenue southwardly to a point approximately 250 feet
south of the south line of Hickory Street.
4. That sewer lying in Rutger Street and extending
from Theresa Avenue to Carr Lane Avenue.
5. That sewer constructed under permit No. 49089 and
lying in the east-west alleys in City Blocks 2167 and 1277 and
extending from Virginia Avenue to Carr Lane Avenue, and lying in
the center of Carr Lane Avenue and extending from Vista Avenue to
a point approximately 50 feet south of the south line of Park
Avenue, and lying in Theresa Avenue and extending from the east-
west alley in said City Block 2167 to the north side of Park
Avenue.
6. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 44395 and
lying in Henrietta Street and extending from Theresa Avenue to
Grand Boulevard. The foregoing Resolution was adopted June 22, 1972.
