WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 1164 The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, organized and existing
under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Missouri, has
filed an application with the Environmental Protection Agency,
Department of the Interior, United States of America, for a grant
under the Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.) for
a grant to aid in the construction of the Coldwater Creek
Downstream Pumping Station No. 2 to intercept existing sanitary
sewers and pump the flow to the existing Pump Station No. 1, which
in turn pumps to the Coldwater Creek Treatment Plant.
WHEREAS, the government has approved such application
subject to certain conditions, has identified such construction as
Project Number C290506, and has submitted to the District for
acceptance PART A of a certain "Offer and Acceptance of Federal
Grant For Sewage Treatment Works Under 33 U.S.C. 466 et seq."
(Budget Bureau Form No. 42 R1510), a copy of which is attached
hereto, and
WHEREAS, the Board finds such offer acceptable by the
District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that the said offer
and acceptance form is hereby approved. The Executive Director is
hereby authorized and directed to execute the acceptance section
of said form on behalf of the District in as many counterparts as
may be necessary and to return the forms to the government as
directed.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted July 13, 1972.
