RESOLUTION authorizing the execution of an amendment to
the contract with St. Louis County, Missouri, under the Public
Employment Program of the United States Department of Labor, to
extend the current program year.
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, has contracted
with the United States Department of Labor, Manpower
Administration, to conduct a Public Employment Program in St.
Louis County, Missouri, and has received from the United States
Department of Labor a grant to fund such a program; and
WHEREAS, the County Supervisor of St. Louis County,
Missouri, authorized by Ordinance No. 6018, 1971, to enter into a
contract with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to carry
out a portion of the activities of the Public Employment Program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
1. That Peter F. Mattei, Executive Director, be and
he is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the contract,
authorized by Resolution No. 1261, adopted February 24, 1972, on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District with St. Louis
County, Missouri, under the Public Employment Program of the
United States Department of Labor, to extend the current program
year.
2. That Peter F. Mattei, Executive Director, be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information
as St. Louis County, Missouri, or the Secretary of Labor may
reasonably request in connection with said contract.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted August 24, 1972.
