WHEREAS, the Honorable Milton M. Kinsey, Vice Chairman
of the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, died on August 18, 1972, in his seventy-fifth year, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kinsey devoted his life to distinguished
service to his community, and
WHEREAS, in recent years his dedication to public
service has been given almost exclusively to The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District, Mr. Kinsey having been appointed a Trustee
on March 10, 1966, and elected Chairman for the fiscal year 1969-
70, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kinsey's leadership, integrity, great
professional abilities and numerous other fine qualities of the
highest order, served as an inspiration to his fellow Board
members and employees of the District and brought great credit and
outstanding progress and achievement to the District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the deepest
sympathies of each member of this Board of Trustees be extended to
Mr. Kinsey's widow, Mrs. Adelaide Kinsey; to his daughters, Mrs.
Barbara Martin and Miss Virginia E. Kinsey; and to the other
members of his family; that this Resolution be entered upon the
minutes of this Board and copies thereof be forwarded to Mrs.
Kinsey and to Mrs. Martin and Miss Kinsey; and that the Board
members stand in one minute of silence in honor and respect of the
memory of Milton M. Kinsey.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted August 24, 1972.
