HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1301 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1301 WHEREAS, the U. S. Corps of Engineers has undertaken an extensive study of the critical problems of stormwater drainage control in the main creek channels within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; and WHEREAS, the Corps of Engineers has now progressed with its initial pilot phase of this study, specifically that of the Maline Creek Channel, sufficiently to present a preliminary report to citizens at a hearing on October 18, 1972, representing a key step toward eventual resolution of the critical stormwater problems confronting the District; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District herewith commends the U. S. Corps of Engineers for its undertaking of this task, for the outstanding manner in which the Corps has carried out its study, and expresses the District's great appreciation for the Corps' invaluable participation in seeking a solution to this most critical of problems confronting The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District today. The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 18, 1972.
