WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 1135 The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, organized and existing
under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Missouri, has
filed an application with the Environmental Protection Agency,
Department of the Interior, United States of America, formerly the
Federal Water Quality Administration, for a grant under the Water
Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.) for a grant to aid
in the construction of Subdistrict No. 361 (Ponca Trail Sanitary
Interceptor) to intercept existing sanitary sewers draining into
two community septic tanks and carry the flow to an adequate point
of discharge.
WHEREAS, the government has approved such application
subject to certain conditions, has identified such construction as
Project Number C290576, and has submitted to the District for
acceptance a certain "Grant Agreement" (OMB Form No. 158-R0087), a
copy of which is attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, the Board finds such offer acceptable by the
District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that the
said "Grant Agreement" form is hereby approved. The Executive
Director is hereby authorized and directed to execute the
acceptance section of said form on behalf of the District in as
many counterparts as may be necessary and to return the forms to
the government as directed.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted July 26, 1973.
