WHEREAS, public sewers now in operation lie in an
easement granted to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District by
deed recorded in Book 4113, page 193 of the St. Louis County
Records, over a tract of land located at Manchester Road and
Lockett Avenue, St. Louis County, Missouri; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the land in which such sewers lie
has requested permission to construct a building across said sewer
easement, and examination and survey of such sewers and of such
building shows that the proposed encroachment will not damage the
existing sewers;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license
the aforesaid encroachment on easement, provided that the right of
the District to use the easement is preserved and the District is
indemnified against liability, loss, or damage from such
encroachment.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 17, 1973.
