WHEREAS, public sewers now in operation lie in
easements in City Blocks 221, 444 N, 444 S, 450, 451, 457, 458,
459, 1669, 1670, 1671, 1673, 1692 N, 1692 S, 1695 E, 1696 E, and
1697 E of the City of St. Louis, Missouri, and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District is
successor in title of said easements, and
WHEREAS, the owner of the land in which such sewers lie
has requested permission to permit the encroachment of buildings
and appurtenances across said easements and examination and survey
of such sewers and of such structures shows that they will not
damage the existing sewers,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license
the aforesaid encroachment on said easements, provided that the
right of the District to use the easements is preserved and the
District is indemnified against liability, loss, or damage from
such encroachment.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted February 13, 1974.
