HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1492 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1492 WHEREAS, Phelim F. O'Toole, Jr., has served two full terms as a City of St. Louis member of the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, from October 10, 1969, to March 14, 1977; and WHEREAS, Mr. O'Toole performed the unusual service of fulfilling two terms as chairman of the Board and two terms as its vice-chairman; and WHEREAS, this Board wishes to express its sincerest appreciation to Mr. O'Toole for these years of distinguished service to the District and the citizens it serves; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: The Board herewith cites and thanks Mr. O'Toole for his unselfish devotion of time, enthusiastic interest, energies and capabilities, and for the exceptional leadership he provided; Mr. O'Toole's special qualities of keen intelligence, facility for dealing with the most complex of problems quickly and incisively, his long and profound experience and fund of knowledge in numerous facets of the business world have been invaluable assets to the District; Additionally, his ready wit, warm personality, and human attributes have made him a pleasure to have as a friend. He will be greatly missed by this Board, by the District, and by its citizens. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression be forwarded to Mr. O'Toole. The foregoing Resolution was adopted March 23, 1977.
