WHEREAS, Lawrence J. Bannes has faithfully served as a
St. Louis County member of the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from April 19, 1973 until
July 13, 1977, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bannes served as chairman of the Board
from July 14, 1976 through July 13, 1977, and as vice-chairman
from August 27, 1975 through July 13, 1976; and
WHEREAS, this Board wishes to express its sincere
appreciation to Mr. Bannes for these years of outstanding service
to the District and the citizens it serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
The Board herewith cites and thanks Mr. Bannes for his
dedicated and conscientious service and for the generous giving of
his time to assure the continued success of the District in
fulfilling the public service for which it is responsible;
Mr. Bannes' experience, intelligence, professional and
business acumen have made his tenure a most worthy asset.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression
be forwarded to Mr. Bannes.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted July 13, 1977.
