A RESOLUTION authorizing filing of application with the
Environmental Protection Agency, United States of America, for a
Grant under the Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 466 et
seq.).
WHEREAS, under the terms of the Water Pollution Control
Act (33 U.S.C. et seq.), the United States of America has
authorized the making of grants to authorized applicants to aid in
the preparation of Preliminary Engineering of a specific public
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
1. That the General Counsel be and he is hereby
authorized to execute and file an application on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District with the Environmental
Protection Agency, United States of America, for a Step 1 grant to
aid in the preparation of a Preliminary Engineering Study for
areas of Fee Fee, Creve Coeur and Caulks Creeks, known as M.S.D.
Northwest, tributary to the Missouri River.
2. That the General Counsel be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to furnish such information as the
Environmental Protection Agency may reasonably request in
connection with the application which is herein authorized to be
filed, and sign all necessary documents.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted August 10, 1977.
