AUTHOR/ZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE REGIONAL CONTRIBUTION
AGREEMENT - CRANBURY TOWNSHIP
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret entered into a Memorandum of Understanding
with the Township of Cranbury on March 10, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Addendum A of this Memo of Understanding sets forth notice that
upon receipt of substantive certification from the Council On Affordable Housing to
Cranbury, the Governing Body of the Borough of Carteret would authorize execution
of the Regional Contribution Agreement; and
WHEREAS, Cranbury received substantive certification by the Council on
Affordable Housing On December 4, 1996; and
WHEREAS, according to the Memorandum of Understanding, the Township of
Cranbury will release the first of four (4) payments to the Borough of Carteret within
thirty (30) days of substantive certification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Governing Body of the
Borough of Carteret authorize the execution of this Regional Contribution Agreement
with signatory approval by Mayor Peter J. Sica on December 19, 1996.
Adopted this 19th day of December, 1996
and certified as a true copy of the original
on December 20, 1996.
