WHEREAS, the Honorable Frederick H. Rodefeld, Vice-
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, died on March 3, 1979, in his seventy-third year,
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Rodefeld devoted much of his life to
distinguished service to his fellow man and his community, and
WHEREAS, in the last two years of his life Mr. Rodefeld
dedicated his public service to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, having been appointed a Trustee on January 26, 1977, and
elected Vice-Chairman of the Board for the fiscal year 1978-1979,
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Rodefeld's integrity, exceptional
capabilities, and many other fine qualities, made him an exemplary
Trustee and contributed greatly to the District's credit and
progress;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the deepest
sympathies of each member of this Board of Trustees be extended to
Mr. Rodefeld's widow, Mrs. Frieda Rodefeld; to his sons, Frederick
W. Rodefeld and Robert J. Rodefeld; to his daughter, Mrs. Judith
Leon; and to the other members of his family.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be entered
upon the minutes of this Board and a copy thereof be forwarded to
Mrs. Rodefeld; and that the Board members stand in one minute of
silence in honor of the memory of Frederick H. Rodefeld.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted March 14, 1979.
