WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and
Urban Development requires that a duly authorized representative
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District be officially
designated by the Board of Trustees in all matters pertaining to
obtaining certain Federal financial assistance under the Disaster
Relief Act (Public Law 288, 93rd Congress),
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that Charles B.
Kaiser, Jr., Assistant Executive Director and General Counsel,
2000 Hampton Avenue, 314-768-6235, St. Louis, Missouri, 63139, is
hereby authorized to execute for and in behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, a public entity established under the
laws of the State of Missouri, this application and to file it in
the appropriate State office for the purpose of obtaining certain
Federal financial assistance under the Disaster Relief Act (Public
Law 288, 93rd Congress) or otherwise available from the
President's Disaster Relief Fund.
THAT The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, a
public entity established under the laws of the State of Missouri,
hereby authorizes its agent to provide to the State and to the
Federal Disaster Assistance Administration (FDAA), Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for all matters pertaining to
such Federal disaster assistance the assurances and agreements
printed in the form as attached hereto.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted May 9, 1979.
