WHEREAS, Marvin O. Young has served six and one-half
years as a St. Louis County member of the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, from January 23, 1974 to
June 11, 1980; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Young served as chairman of the Board from
July, 1978 to July, 1979, and as vice-chairman from July, 1977 to
July, 1978; and
WHEREAS, this Board wishes to express its sincere
appreciation to Mr. Young for these years of outstanding service
to the District and the citizens it serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
The Board herewith cites Mr. Young for his dedicated
conscientious giving of time, effort and capabilities to assuring
the District's success in fulfilling the public service for which
it is responsible;
Mr. Young's incisive intelligence, exceptional
leadership, integrity and personable human qualities, have made
his tenure a pleasure and a most worthy asset to the District.
He will be greatly missed by the Board, by the
District, and by its citizens.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression
be forwarded to Mr. Young.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted June 25, 1980.
