WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the
State of Missouri, has filed an application with the United States
Environmental Protection Agency, Region VII, for a grant under the
Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.) for a Step 2
grant for design of trunk sewers and interim treatment facilities
in the Caulks Creek watershed of the Lower Missouri River Basin
(Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Northwest).
WHEREAS, the government has approved such application
subject to certain conditions, has identified such services as
Project Number C-291148-02, and has submitted to the District for
acceptance a certain "Grant Agreement" (EPA Form 5700-20A), a copy
of which is attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, the Board finds such offer acceptable by the
District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that the said "Grant
Agreement" form is hereby approved. The Assistant Executive
Director and General Counsel is hereby authorized and directed to
execute the acceptance section of said form on behalf of the
District in as many counterparts as may be necessary and to return
the forms to the government as directed.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted April 22, 1981.
