HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1617 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1617 WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Missouri, has filed an application with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region VII, for a grant under the Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.) for a grant to provide increased funds to include a study and report assessing toxic material impact upon the Mississippi River near St. Louis, Missouri within the current Mississippi River Master Facilities Plan Project. WHEREAS, the government has approved such application subject to certain conditions, has identified such services as Project Number C-291077-01, and has submitted to the District for acceptance a certain "Grant Agreement" (EPA Form 5700-20B), a copy of which is attached hereto, and WHEREAS, the Board finds such offer acceptable by the District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that the said "Grant Agreement" form is hereby approved. The Assistant Executive Director and General Counsel is hereby authorized and directed to execute the acceptance section of said form on behalf of the District in as many counterparts as may be necessary and to return the forms to the government as directed. The foregoing Resolution was adopted September 9, 1981.
