A. Coordinated Public Transit – Human Services Transportation Plan Update
Action Requested: Discussion.
Staff Report: The plan identifies the transportation needs of individuals with disabilities, older adults, and
people with low incomes. The plan provides strategies for meeting these needs, and prioritizes
transportation services for funding and implementation. MoDOT is providing a grant of approximately
$20,000 to aid in the update of the Plan.
B. Buckle Up Phone Down Challenge
Action Requested: Discussion and approval.
Staff Report: The Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety and the Missouri Department of Transportation
are challenging businesses and governmental agencies to encourage the public to buckle up a safety belt
and putting cellphones away while driving. The City of Jefferson, Cole County, and several MPOs around
the state have already accepted the Buckle Up Phone Down Challenge.
C. Visioning and Travel Demand Model – Draft Scope of Services
Action Requested: Approve draft Scope of Services.
