WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
(herein called the "Applicant"), organized and existing under and
by virtue of the laws of the State of Missouri, has filed an
application with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources,
(herein called the "Government"), for a grant under Section
192.600, et seq., Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1969, for a grant
for a Step 3 grant for the Arnold Interim Lagoon in the Lower
Meramec River Basin, and
WHEREAS, the Government has approved such application
subject to certain conditions, and will submit to the Applicant a
certain Grant Agreement (herein called the "Grant Agreement"), has
identified such Grant Agreement as Project No. C290875-03, for
approval and execution by the Applicant, which said Grant
Agreement is satisfactory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE APPLICANT that the said Grant Agreement, a copy of which is
to be attached hereto, be and the same is hereby approved. The
Assistant Executive Director and General Counsel is hereby
authorized and directed to execute the said Grant Agreement in the
name and on behalf of the Applicant, in as many counterparts as
may be necessary, and the Secretary-Treasurer is hereby authorized
and directed to affix or impress the official seal of the
Applicant hereon and to attest the same. The proper officer is
directed to forward the said executed counterparts of said Grant
Agreement to the Government, together with such other documents
evidencing the approval and authorization to execute the same as
may be required by the Government. The foregoing Resolution was adopted June 9, 1982.
