HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1642 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1642 WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Missouri, has filed applications with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region VII, for grants under the Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.) and with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of Environmental Quality - Water Quality Program (Missouri Clean Water Commission) for corresponding grants under Sections 204.200 - 204.240, Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1959, Cumulative Supplement, 1967, and WHEREAS, the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources have approved such applications and awarded grants subject to certain conditions which include development, adoption and implementation of a system of user charges in conformance with grant regulations promulgated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, and WHEREAS, the District has caused to be prepared, a Report on User Charges for The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District by Black & Veatch Consulting Engineers, drafted June 25, 1982 and has received copies of this report, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that the said Report on User Charges for The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District be received and acknowledged by the Board of Trustees for further consideration and action on the essential components at such time as deemed fiscally appropriate by the Board of Trustees. The Assistant Executive Director and General Counsel is hereby authorized and directed to make such distributions of this Report on User Charges for The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to the United States Environmental Protection Agency and Missouri Department of Natural Resources in the name and behalf of the District and to make and receive further comments in regards to this report until such time as the essential components may be formally adopted by an ordinance(s) of the District. The foregoing Resolution was adopted September 8, 1982.
