HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1679 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1679 WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 4923, adopted March 11, 1981, the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District created Subdistrict No. 523 (Roclare & Oak Springs), and by Resolution No. 1677, adopted June 22, 1983, declared the necessity of an improvement to be made in said subdistrict be paid by special tax bills or other evidence of special benefit assessments to be levied ratably by area on land benefitted, and WHEREAS, adequate notice of public hearing in respect to said improvement in said subdistrict was given, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held not less than ten nor more than thirty days after the adoption of Resolution No. 1677, to wit: On Thursday, July 14, 1983, at the Hiram Neuwoehner School, 12112 Clayton Road, Town & Country, Missouri, at which hearing all persons were given an opportunity to be heard, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that the Board of Trustees hereby finds and determines that it is in the public interest that such improvement, consisting of approximately 12,500 lineal feet of 8-inch sewers, be made and further determines to proceed with such improvement. The foregoing Resolution was adopted July 27, 1983.
