WHEREAS, a public combined sewer now in operation lies
in a vacated alley in City Block 926 between the West line of
Jefferson Avenue and the East line of Beaumont Street, in the City
of St. Louis, Missouri, and
WHEREAS, the owner of the land in which such sewer lies
has requested permission to construct an elevated traffic ramp
across said sewer, and examination and survey of such sewer and of
such elevated traffic ramp shows that the proposed encroachment
will not damage the existing sewer,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license
the aforesaid encroachment on easement, provided that the right of
the District to use the easement is preserved and the District is
indemnified against liability, loss or damage from such
encroachment.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 12, 1983.
