WHEREAS, George E. Schillinger, Superintendent of the
Bissell Point Sewage Treatment Plant of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, is the 1983 recipient of the Philip F. Morgan
Certificate of Merit of The Water Pollution Control Federation,
and
WHEREAS, said award recognizes Mr. Schillinger's
innovative work in improving the vacuum filtration of sludges of
the Bissell Point Sewage Treatment Plant, and
WHEREAS, such recognition brings credit and reflects
favorable upon the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
That, this Board, on behalf of itself, the District and
its people and the public it serves, herewith cites and
congratulates George E. Schillinger, Superintendent of the Bissell
Point Sewage Treatment Plant, on his having been named the 1983
recipient of The Philip F. Morgan Certificate of Merit of the
Water Pollution Control Federation.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted December 14, 1983.
