HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1717 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1717 WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 4981, adopted March 9, 1983, the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District created Subdistrict No. 583 (Summit & Longview), and by Resolution No. 1712, adopted July 11, 1984, declared the necessity of an improvement to be made in said subdistrict to be paid for by special tax bills or other evidence of special benefit assessments to be levied ratably by area on land benefitted, and WHEREAS, adequate notice of a public hearing in respect to said improvement in said subdistrict was given, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held not less than ten not more than thirty days after the adoption of Resolution No. 1712, to wit: On Tuesday, July 31, 1984, at the Tesson Ferry Branch Library, 5676 South Lindbergh Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri, at which hearing all persons interested in such improvement were given an opportunity to be heard, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that the Board of Trustees hereby finds and determines that it is in the public interest that such improvement, consisting of approximately 5,561 lineal feet of 8-inch sewers, be made and further determines to proceed with such improvement. The foregoing Resolution was adopted August 15, 1984.
