WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
ordered the Preliminary Engineering Study Report for the Bissell
Point Plant Secondary Treatment Project as published July, 1984,
and April, 1985, (Revised) by Sverdrup and Parcel/Havens and
Emerson, a joint venture, and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
ordered the Alternative Site Comparison Study Report for the
Bissell Point Plant Secondary Treatment Project as published
December, 1984, by Sverdrup and Parcel/Havens and Emerson, a
joint venture, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District has reviewed said Reports, and concurs with
the recommendations therein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, that the
recommendations of the Preliminary Engineering Study Report for
the Bissell Point Plant Secondary Treatment Project as published
in July, 1984, and April, 1985, (Revised) by Sverdrup and
Parcel/Havens and Emerson, a joint venture, and the
recommendations of the Alternative Site Comparison Study Report
for the Bissell Point Plant Secondary Treatment Project as
published December, 1984 by Sverdrup and Parcel/Havens and
Emerson, a joint venture, be adopted and approved by this Board
as demonstrating that the area north of the existing Bissell
Point Treatment Plant is the most suitable site for theﾜhﾜ
construction of the Bissell Point Secondary Treatment Facilities.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 23, 1985.
