HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1784 à *ÔR E S O L U T I O N NO. 1784•ƒ ÁÁ WHEREAS, the recent flooding conditions of the Mississippi, Missouri and Meramec Rivers in the greater St. Louis area presented a threat to property and public health and welfare, and WHEREAS, employees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District were called to serve in various capacities above and beyond their normal duties for the duration of said flooding conditions, and WHEREAS, the outstanding service by said employees helped to avert serious damage to property and the public health and welfare, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: THAT, this Board, on behalf of itself, the District, and the public which it serves, herewith cites and expresses its appreciation and thanks to those employees of the District who directly and indirectly served above and beyond their normal duties to protect property and the public health and welfare during the re#ent flooding conditions of the Mississippi, Missouri and Meramec Rivers in the greater St. Louis area. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be posted throughout the offices and facilities of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 22, 1986.
