R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1810
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1776, adopted July 23, 1986, appointed
investment managers to act on behalf of the Trustee of the Pension Plan with
respect to the assets of the Pension Fund of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, and
WHEREAS, in said Resolution No. 1776, Mercantile Trust Company was
appointed investment manager of no more than Ten Million Dollars
($10,000,000.00) of the Pension Fund, with a primary objective of managing a
balanced investment fund, and
WHEREAS, said Mercantile Trust Company has formed a wholly-owned
investment counselling subsidiary, known as Mississippi Valley Advisors, Inc.,
for the management of tax-exempt investment portfolios such as the portion of
the District's Pension Fund subject to the management by Mercantile Trust
Company, and
WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District wishes to officially designate Mississippi Valley Advisors, Inc. as
investment manager of that portion of the Pension Fund of the District as
previously managed by Mercantile Trust Company,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Mississippi Valley Advisors,
Inc. is hereby appointed to act on behalf of the Trustee of the Pension Plan of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District as investment manager of no more than
Ten Million Dollars ($10,000,000.00) of the Pension Fund of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, with a primary objective of managing a balanced
investment fund.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted July 16, 1987.
