HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1829 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1829 WHEREAS, Robert J. Hagel has served with distinction as the Executive Director of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for five years, from 1982 until his resignation in December, 1987; and WHEREAS, during Mr. Hagel's tenure, the District has taken a pro-active approach toward meeting the needs of the St. Louis community by building more than $280 million worth of new sewers, treatment plants, pump stations and stormwater facilities; and WHEREAS, Mr Hagel's management and organization skills helped develop a professional and dedicated staff to operate the sewer District; and WHEREAS, Mr. Hagel represented the District in an honorable and professional manner to members of the public; and WHEREAS, Mr. Hagel unselfishly gave of himself in terms of time and energy spent on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: That, this Board, on behalf of itself, the District and its people, and the citizens it serves, herewith cites and expresses its sincere thanks and appreciation to Robert J. Hagel for his dedication, leadership, and accomplishments made by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District during his tenure as Executive Director. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this#Resolution shall be put in a suitable, permanent form and a copy shall be presented to Mr. Hagel and another copy to be displayed in the general offices of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. The foregoing Resolution was adopted December 23, 1987.
