R1896ŠÁÁÃ*ÔR E S O L U T I O N NO. 1896•ƒ WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District wishes to commend the members of the Ad Hoc Citizens' Working Group for their diligence in reviewing and drafting recommendations on ways for The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to better meet the needs of this community, and WHEREAS, the Ad Hoc Citizens' Working Group, representing a broad segment of the community, held 33 public meetings during which every member could participate in the discussions, and WHEREAS, the Ad Hoc Citizens' Working Group, has developed specific recommendations on financing, stormwater and floodplain management and modernizing the Plan of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District so it can provide the necessary tools to provide the public with service; and WHEREAS, many of the recommendations drafted by the Ad Hoc Citizens' Working Group could have a lasting positive impact on the environment of the St. Louis community; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District that it publicly recognizes and appreciates the time, effort and devotion to duty the members of the Ad Hoc Citizens' Working Group displayed during the course of their deliberations and thanks each member for such dedicated and continued service. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolutionÜdÜ be presented to each member of the Citizens' Ad Hoc Working Group in honor of said service. The foregoing Resolution was adopted June 14, 1989.
