USS Jefferson City Submarine Committee
Thursday, July 23, 2015; 5:00 p.m.
City Hall - 320 East McCarty Street
Boone Bancroft Conference Room
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Dulle called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL:
Committee Members present: Hal Dulle; Ivan Turner; Stephen Sampson; Lori Rosberg;
and Patrick Bonnot.
Committee Members absent: Michael Ryno; Marti Thruston; Bob Priddy; and
Councilmember Jim Branch.
A quorum was declared present.
ATTENDEES:
Staff: City Administrator Steve Crowell.
3. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA
Committee Member Turner made a motion to approve the agenda; seconded by
Committee Member Bonnot.
Aye: Dulle; Turner; Sampson; Rosberg; and Bonnot.
Nay: None.
4. APPROVAL OF THE JUNE 4, 2015 MEETING MINUTES:
Committee Member Bonnot made a motion to approve the minutes from the June 4,
2015 USS Jefferson City Submarine Committee meeting; seconded by Sampson.
Aye: Dulle; Turner; Sampson; Rosberg; and Bonnot.
Nay: None.

5. OLD BUSINESS:
Committee Member Bonnot reaffirmed the dates that representatives from the USS
Jefferson City Submarine would be in town, which are Thursday, September 24 through
Monday, September 28.

The Committee reviewed the Tentative Schedule and events conveyed by Committee
Member Thruston (to Laura Lewis). The committee felt the schedule was an excellent
initial framework upon which to build other related events.
Committee Member Sampson indicated that it would be a good idea to have the USS
Jefferson City representatives contact Lincoln University when the representatives are
in town.
The Committee felt it was important to inform the public that the USS Jefferson City
representatives would be in town and at which events.
The USS Jefferson City representatives might be interested in attending the Old
Munichberg Oktoberfest on September 25 (evening) and Saturday, September 26, 2015.

None.
7. PUBLIC COMMENTS:
None.
8. NEXT MEETING DATE:
The next meeting of the USS Jefferson City Submarine Committee is scheduled for
August 26, 2015 at 5: 00 p.m. in the Boone Bancroft (Large) Conference Room at City
Hall.
9. ADJOURNMENT:
Motion to adjourn was made by Committee Member Turner; seconded by Bonnot.
Aye: Dulle; Turner; Sampson; Rosberg; and Bonnot.
Nay: None.
