HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1994 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1994 WHEREAS, John Schoelch has faithfully served The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for six years as a Treatment Plant Operator, and WHEREAS, Mr. Schoelch was called to active military duty when his unit, the Psychological Operations Company attached to Company A of the 4th and 37th Armored First Infantry Division, was ordered to serve in the Persian Gulf conflict, and WHEREAS, Mr. Schoelch's courage in battle led to his being awarded the Bronze Star for his heroism, and WHEREAS, Mr. Schoelch's distinguished service to his country is a source of pride to his wife Louise, his daughter Melissa, and the District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, on behalf of the District and the public which it serves, that John Schoelch be herewith recognized and commended for his distinguished service to his country during the Persian Gulf conflict. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Mr. Schoelch be presented a copy of this Resolution. The foregoing Resolution was adopted June 19, 1991.
