WHEREAS, Section 7.010 of the Plan of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District prescribes the appointment,
qualifications and duties of the Director of Finance, and
WHEREAS, at times, the Director of Finance finds it
necessary to delegate certain of his duties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, that the Director of
Finance be given the authority to delegate, in his absence, either
to the Assistant Director of Finance, the Accounting Manager or
the Manager of Purchasing, certain duties, namely: the
certification of contracts, orders or other documents that incur a
financial obligation of the District or any Subdistricts; the
approval before payment of bills, invoices, payrolls and other
evidences of claims, demands or charges against the District or
Subdistricts and contracting for the purchases, stores and
distribution of all supplies, materials and equipment for the
District or Subdistricts.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted September 9, 1992.
