HomeMy Public PortalAboutR2133 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2133 WHEREAS, Darryl T. Jones served as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from September 1990 to January 1994, representing the City of St. Louis; and WHEREAS, during his tenure, Mr. Jones exhibited his leadership ability, serving as vice-chairman and chairman of the Board; and WHEREAS, Mr. Jones' knowledge and understanding of the issues facing this District and the community it serves were instrumental in developing and implementing policies to provide the delivery of service to District customers; and WHEREAS, Mr. Jones always took into consideration the impact that any Board decision would have on the customers of this District; and WHEREAS, Mr. Jones has conscientiously given of his time and energies toward helping young people obtain their education and establish their careers through his service on the INROADS Board of Directors; and WHEREAS, Mr. Jones is a devoted husband to his wife Villajean and a fine role model for his two sons; and WHEREAS, Mr. Jones continues his commitment to civic duty by serving on the Missouri Housing Development Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: THAT, this Board wishes to publicly express its gratitude to Darryl T. Jones for his tireless service to this body and the public it serves. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this token of our appreciation be presented to Mr. Jones. The foregoing Resolution was adopted May 11, 1994.
