HomeMy Public PortalAboutR2138 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2138 WHEREAS, Frank G. Kriz has served as Executive Director of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from July 1, 1988 until June 1, 1994; and WHEREAS, Mr. Kriz has been a capable and dedicated administrator, having effectively guided this District during a crucial time in its history; and WHEREAS, under his leadership, the District completed a series of the largest wastewater public works projects ever undertaken in this community, the seven Clean Water Capital Improvement projects, built at a cost of nearly $400 million. These projects were completed on schedule and under budget; and WHEREAS, during his tenure as Executive Director, the District has made many strides in customer service and communicating with the public the role of the District in protecting the water environment in our community; and WHEREAS, Frank Kriz has dedicated his career to serving the public, having worked for 30 years with the Missouri State Highway and Transportation Department, heading the St. Louis division, before joining the District; and WHEREAS, Mr. Kriz has given of his time and energy to his profession and community, as a member of the St. Louis Engineers' Club, the American Public Works Association, the Association of Municipal Sewerage Agencies (AMSA), American Society of Civil Engineers, Missouri and National Society of Professional Engineers and the Water and Environment Federation; and WHEREAS, Frank Kriz, his wife Aube and their family exemplify the values and civic mindedness that help make the St. Louis community so great. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: THAT, this Board wishes to publicly express its appreciation to Frank G. Kriz for a job well done in directing The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for the past six years. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be presented to Mr. Kriz. The foregoing Resolution was adopted May 11, 1994.
