WHEREAS, the Executive Director of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District (District) has advised the Board of Trustees
that a certain parcel of real property and improvements thereon
known and numbered as 4401 Hampton Avenue in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri is not presently being used by the District and there have
been several inquiries regarding purchase of the property, and the
District may ultimately choose to sell the property rather than to
use it, and in order to sell the property the District must first
declare the property to be no longer necessary or useful in the
District's operations, therefore in order to be in a position to
sell the property if an acceptable offer is received by the
District, the Executive Director has recommended that the property
should be declared surplus property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
1. Based upon the recommendation of the Executive
Director of the District, the above-described real property is
hereby determined to be no longer necessary in the District's
operations and is, therefore, declared surplus real property.
2. This determination is made pursuant to Resolution
No. 2016, adopted September 18, 1991.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted December 8, 1994.
