WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 105.500-105.530 R.S.Mo.,
designated representatives of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District have met, conferred and agreed upon certain proposals
relative to salaries and other conditions of employment with
representatives of AFSCME Local 410 and Service Employees
International Union Local 50; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has been informed that the
members of Local 410 and Local 50 will vote on such proposals on or
before June 28, 1995; and
WHEREAS, in anticipation of the approval of such
proposals by the membership of Local 410 and Local 50, the Board of
Trustees at its June 27, 1995 meeting has enacted ordinances
revising the Compensation Plan and Classification Plan as it
pertains to those employees in the bargaining units of Local 410
and Local 50;
NOW, THEREFORE, BUT IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
In the event the members of Local 410 and Local 50 do not
vote on or before June 28, 1995 to approve the terms and conditions
of the proposals relative to salaries and other working conditions
which have previously been approved by District and Union
designated representatives, it is the intent of the Board of
Trustees to repeal those ordinances which affect the Compensation
Plan and Classification Plan of the employees in those bargaining
units at its next regularly scheduled meeting.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted June 27, 1995.
