WHEREAS, John W. Siscel served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for Fiscal Year 1996; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Siscel's leadership skills and diplomacy as Chairman helped
guide fellow board members and staff throughout said year; and
WHEREAS, during Mr. Siscel's tenure as Chairman, the District made great
strides toward serving the community by protecting water quality and the environment; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Siscel has represented St. Louis County as well as the entire
area served by the District in an exemplary manner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Siscel's service to this community spans well beyond his office
as a Board member of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. He also serves as a Regent
on the Harris Stowe State College Board of Regents, as well as with other civic and charitable
groups.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board, on behalf of itself, the District and the public it serves, wishes
to express its appreciation to John W. Siscel for his term as Chairman of the Board of
Trustees during Fiscal Year 1996, and for his years of service as a member to the Board of
Trustees.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by this Board that a copy of this expression be
presented to Mr. Siscel at a Board meeting.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted July 11, 1996.
