WHEREAS, the staff of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has proposed
revisions and amendments to the Rules and Regulations and Engineering Design
Requirements for Sanitary Sewerage and Stormwater Drainage Facilities for all sewer and
drainage facilities projects which are intended to be dedicated to The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District for public operation and maintenance, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
desires to adopt the aforesaid Rules and Regulations and Engineering Design Requirements
as revised and amended (a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein) for all
such projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, that the revised and amended Rules
and Regulations and Engineering Design Requirements for Sanitary Sewerage and Stormwater
Drainage Facilities, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, are hereby adopted,
effective February 1, 1997, except however, that complete plans, i.e. plans that have been
accepted for review by MSD (i.e. plans that comply with Section 1.050.07) for which the
submittal fee and Form E-2 have been received by the District prior to February 1, 1997, and
existing (i.e. as of February 1, 1997) detention facilities that are part of a multi-phase
development will be governed by the Rules & Regulations in effect prior to February 1, 1997.
The aforesaid Rules and Regulations and Engineering Design Requirements for
Sanitary Sewage and Stormwater Drainage Facilities may, from time to time, be revised and
amended by the staff.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted January 9, 1997.
