WHEREAS, Ellen Lane has faithfully served The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District from January 3, 1983 to her retirement effective February 1, 1997, and
WHEREAS, her tireless energy, dedication and loyalty as Secretary to the
Executive Director have contributed to the development and progress of the District and to the
public which it serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its people, and the citizens
it serves, herewith cites and expresses its greatest appreciation to Ellen Lane for her 14 years
of exemplary service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression be presented to
Ms. Lane.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted January 9, 1997.
