WHEREAS, M. Susan Carlson served as a member of the Board of Trustees of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from June 1994 until June 1997, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Carlson dutifully carried out the tasks and responsibilities of the
office of Trustee as a representative of St. Louis County, and
WHEREAS, as a Trustee, Ms. Carlson shared with fellow Trustees and the
District staff, her vast knowledge and experience of environmental matters and the law, helping
to shape policy and guide the District during her tenure, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Carlson dedicated her service on the Board to improving
customer service and enhancing the public's understanding and acceptance of the District,
WHEREAS, Ms. Carlson's civic commitment stretched beyond her serving on the
MSD Board of Trustees to other charitable and community associations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board, on behalf of itself and the employees of the District, wish to
thank and commend M. Susan Carlson for her years of service on the Board and for her
many contributions to the entire St. Louis community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT a copy of this Resolution be presented to
Ms. Carlson.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted June 12, 1997.
