R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2271
WHEREAS, the Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. have awarded a grant of Two
Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to be used toward
the administration of the District's Community Access to Environmental Education (CATEE)
program, and
WHEREAS, said CATEE program serves to promote citizen understanding of
environmental issues, and the courses of action necessary to resolve said issues, and
WHEREAS, said CATEE program has sponsored school and group presentations
on environmental awareness, encouraged residents to recycle items, sponsored paint recycling
and exchange programs, and held educational seminars, and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid grant by the Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc.
exemplifies the commitment of the Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. to the St. Louis
community for the protection of the environment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that the District hereby accepts the
grant from the Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. to be used toward the administration of the
District's Community Access to Environmental Education (CATEE) program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board on behalf of the District hereby
commends the Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. for their continuing commitment to the St.
Louis community for the protection of the environment.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 9, 1997.
