WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis has entered into a contract with the State of
Missouri, Department of Economic Development, for a block grant for the execution of projects
and activities under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (Pub. L.
93-383, 42 USC 5301 et seq.) herein referred to as Block Grant funds and the Emergency
Supplemental Appropriations Act of 1994 (Pub. L. 103-211), and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Agency is authorized to act on behalf
of the City in implementing the grant contract, and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Agency has approved The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District as the Grantee in the amount of up to Two Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($250,000.00) for the Blow Street Pump Station, Consolidation Sewer, Detention
Basin (L-02G, 93039G) project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, that the Executive Director is hereby
authorized to accept the Community Development Agency Grant for the Blow Street Pump
Station, Consolidation Sewer, Detention Basin (L-02G, 93039G) project, and to execute all
documents as may be necessary for the acceptance of said grant.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 9, 1997.
