HomeMy Public PortalAboutR2326 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2326 WHEREAS, Michael C. Williams served as Chairman of the Board of
Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District during Fiscal Year 1999 (July 1,
1998 to June 30, 1999), and
WHEREAS, during his tenure as Chairman, Mr. Williams demonstrated
the skills and leadership qualities which helped move the District forward to meet
many of the challenges it faces, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Williams' diplomacy and fortitude strengthened the
Board and enabled it to address many difficult issues professionally and without delay,
and
WHEREAS, his push for diversity in the operation of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District increased the opportunities for many throughout the community,
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Williams' service as Chairman and as a member of the
District's Board of Trustees, is one of many civic and charitable activities he is engaged
in the St. Louis area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District that it wishes to express its gratitude to Mr.
Williams for a job well done as Chairman of the Board during Fiscal Year 1999.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that as a token of appreciation, a
framed copy of this resolution be presented to Mr. Williams.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted July 15, 1999.
