HomeMy Public PortalAboutR2339 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2339 WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District=s Missouri River Treatment Plant employees have worked ten consecutive years without an occupational injury or illness involving lost work time, and WHEREAS, the National Safety Council, in recognition of the Missouri River Treatment Plant=s exemplary safety record, have awarded the plant workers its Perfect Record Award, and WHEREAS, this remarkable achievement was accomplished under the trying circumstances of the 1993 Flood during which the Plant was completely inundated in flood water, and after which, massive reconstruction activity took place at the Plant, and WHEREAS, the 17 employees of the Plant demonstrated their professionalism and dedication to their jobs by achieving such an honor. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT it wishes to commend the employees of the Missouri River Treatment Plant upon receiving the National Safety Council=s Perfect Record Award for their outstanding operating period without an injury or illness involving loss of work. AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT a copy of this resolution along with the Board=s congratulations be conveyed to these employees. The foregoing Resolution was adopted November 4, 1999.
