HomeMy Public PortalAboutR2348 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2348 WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District is in the process of
replacing desktop computers throughout the District in order to utilize new software
and to decrease processing time thereby increasing total efficiency, and
WHEREAS, said replacement process will generate a surplus of
approximately 300 desktop computers, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section Seventeen (c) of Ordinance No. 9845, as
adopted April 18, 1996, if approved by the Board of Trustees, said surplus desktop
computers may be donated to political divisions or subdivisions of the State of
Missouri, public school districts, Federal educational institutions, Federal public
health and Federal civil defense institutions and organizations and other non-profit
philanthropic private organizations, and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Board of Trustees that said surplus
desktop computers be offered to the City of St. Louis Public School System, school
districts in St. Louis County and to non-profit philanthropic private organizations
served by the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, That the
surplus desktop computers as generated by the District=s desktop computer
replacement process be offered to the City of St. Louis Public School System, school
districts in St. Louis County and to non-profit philanthropic private organizations
served by the District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted January 6, 2000.
